Tentokrát se ale vzlet tohoto historického letadla vyrobeného v roce 1968 odehrál za světla.
Today I captured the departure of Antonov An-12 operated by Ukrainan company Meridian Limited whose plane was already seen at Brno airport in December. This time, however, the great oldtimer manufactured in 1968 took off in daytime allowing me to take some pictures.
Pondělní lety nákladní pravidelné linky TNT jsou zpravidla zajištěny Boeingy 737 islandské partnerské firmy Bluebird Cargo, ne jinak tomu bylo i v tento den. Vyjímečně však nepřilétlo letadlo v typických barvách TNT, ale v původním zbarvení severského dopravce.
Monday scheduled TNT cargo flights to Brno are usually operated by an Icelandic contractor Bluebird Cargo Boeing 737 and this Monday was not an exception in terms of that practice. However, the plane which arrived was not in the typical TNT Airways colours as it was painted in the original livery of the northern company.

Another landing of an occasional visitor to Brno airport: Volga-Dnepr Ilyushin 76TD-90VD. This flight was however quite special as it was operated by a new aircraft in Volga-Dnepr fleet, registration RA-76952 which is the third modernised IL76 operated by this Russian company.
Hned při druhém letu Yakutia Airlines do Brna byl nasazen Boeing 757 imatrikulace VQ-BMW. Vzhledem ke skutečnosti, že flotila této ruské společnosti je dosti pestrá a plánovaný B737 je spíše menšinovým typem, můžeme se pravděpodobně těšit na poměrně časté návštěvy ostatních letadel ve flotile.
We have experienced a very nice change of type as soon as on the second Yakutia Airlines flight to Brno. It was a rarely seen Boeing 757 (VQ-BMW registration), in addition bearing the tremendous livery of this Russian carrier. With regards to the fact that Boeing 737 which is scheduled for flights to Brno is rather a minor type in Yakutia fleet, we can possibly look forward to frequent visits of other aircraft.

Odlet Boeingu 747 z dráhy 10. Letadlo se kousek před koncem dráhy opatrně odlepilo a vydalo na dlouhou cestu. Během dopoledne ještě přistál často vídaný Iljušin 76 ruské společnosti Volga Dněpr. Celkově se tedy jednalo o vydařený cargo den na LKTB, navíc doprovázený slunečným počasím.
Departure of the Silk Way Boeing 747 from runway 10. The aircraft gently lifted off at the very end of the runway and soared towards its long journey. In the morning we also witnessed arrival of a well-known Russian freighter - Volga Dnepr Ilyushin 76. By and large this was a very successful cargo day at LKTB, in addition accompanied by nice sunny weather.

Odlet Iljušinu 76 společnosti Aviacon Zitotrans. Letadlo imatrikulace RA-76842 tohoto nákladního dopravce se sídlem v Jekatěrinburgu má za sebou zajímavou historii. V roce 1995 bylo MiGy 21 Talibanu donuceno k přistání na letišti v Kandaháru a následně zde téměř rok i s posádkou zadržováno. Nakonec se za dosti dramatických okolností podařilo posádce s Iljušinem odlétnout do Spojených Arabských Emirátů. Více informací třeba zde nebo zde.
The departure of a classic cargo plane - Ilyushin 76 operated by Aviacon Zitotrans, a freight hauler headquartered in Ekaterinburg, Russia. This machine bearing RA-76842 registration has a very interesting operational history. Back in 1995 it was intercepted by a Taliban MiG 21 and forced to land at Kandahar airport. Both the crew and the aircraft was subsequently being held there for almost a year. Finally they managed to escape in very dramatic circumstances.
